The Lenten Journey 2011
Ash Wednesday begins the 40 days of Lent that Christians have traveled for two thousand years. In this period of turning our hearts toward God, we give up of ourselves and give out towards those in need. The season beckons to us for greater devotion to God. At Good Shepherd we do this in different ways and invite you to join us in this walk of faith.
Ash Wednesday with imposition of ashes- March 9 @ 7pm
Together With Jesus - This small group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month @ 10 am. They are beginning a series on Luther's Small Catechism.
Men's Huddles: These small groups of men meet either Tuesday mornings at 7am or Thursday evenings at 7pm. Contact the church office for specifics.

Maundy Thursday - worship with our 5th graders at 7:30pm as they receive their first communion
Good Friday - Worship this day focuses on Jesus crucifixion with a choir service @ 1pm and a prayer service @ 7pm
